Former WWE United States Champion The Miz take a ‘polar plunge’ to train differently for Royal Rumble 2022
The Miz and Maryse will be facing the Grit couple of Edge and Beth Phoenix at the WWE Royal Rumble PPV. It’s the battle between the IT couple against the GrIT couple. It was announced by the company last week on Friday Night SmackDown.
It seems like Mizanin is preparing for the Royal Rumble in a unique and hardcore way as he recently took a ‘Polar Plunge’ on the river. He took to Twitter a post a picture of himself in a long towel in the freezing cold
He captioned the post:
“First (and only) Mizanin polar plunge to train for #RoyalRumble. Season 3 of #MizandMrs won’t disappoint”
Edge defeated The Miz at WWE Day 1
The Rated R Superstar took revenge on Mizanin as he defeated The Miz at the WWE Day 1 PPV. However, the A-Lister took the help of his wife Maryse, who created a lot of distractions until WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, who is also the wife of Edge, made an entry and made sure that the game was played moderately.
On Monday Night Raw, Mizanin, in a segment, mentioned that his loss at the PPV came due to the courtesy of a distraction from Beth Phoenix and also claimed that Beth helped her husband at WWE Day 1.
The Miz also blamed Edge that he cannot fight his own battle. However, their feud is taking a nice turn now, and since both Maryse and Beth are former WWE Superstars, it looks like a great match in the making.
