The Fiend brings up Samson and Delilah after WrestleMania 37 loss with regards to his relationship with Alexa Bliss

‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss have had a weird relationship ever since she was ‘consumed’ by the dark side last year.

No one has been able to quite get a grip on what their dynamic entails. And it is precisely what WWE creative has wanted, or so it would seem.

Some have already mentioned that Bliss is The Fiend’s weakness and brings out the human, emotional side of the monster that lies on the exterior.

While it has been said that her angle with Randy Orton, who is The Fiend’s sworn enemy recently, is also bordering on a romantic relationship.

This triangle was further complicated on night two of WrestleMania 37 where The Fiend (with Bliss) took on ‘The Viper’ in the opening match.

The match, which involved a ton of visual trickery and cinematic background scenes, saw Wyatt get distracted by Bliss at the end, who had black liquid pouring down her face.

This gave Orton the perfect opportunity to hit him with The RKO and win by pinfall. After the match, Wyatt posted a photo of an infamous historical couple.

And it was that of Samson and Delilah from the Book of Judges in the Hebrew Bible. Delilah’s Nazirite lover, Samson, possesses great strength.

But she is bribed by the Philistines to discover his source of strength. Due to his love and trust for the woman, Samson reveals that it is hair that is responsible for his power.

As he sleeps, Delilah offers a servant to cut his hair and turn him over. In a similar vein, The Fiend is trying to portray Bliss as a treacherous and voluptuous character that is taking away his strength against his enemy, Orton.

This is pretty smart story telling from Owens and it remains to be seen where this exciting storyline goes next.
