Capitol Hill riots shocked the United States of America this week
A large number of Donald Trump supporters gathered to start the Capitol Hill riots on Wednesday in Washington DC.
The invasion that took place on 6th January was to protest the certification of the electoral college vote. The certification would see Joe Biden become the President of the United States of America on January 20th, 2021.
A large gathering of primarily white supremacists stormed the Capitol building and looted belongings. The incident drew worldwide criticism of Donald Trump’s government and the police’s failure to deal with the issue in a prompt manner.
Police were criticized for their callousness in handling the situation while the rioters were blasted for the inappropriateness of the protest.
Amidst this, a wrestling fan account posted a meme that people found highly inappropriate. The meme features a group of Capitol Hill rioters with an edited RETRIBUTION flag, and the caption says “worst invasion angle ever”.
T-Bar bashes Capitol Hill riots meme doing rounds on the internet
T-Bar, a member of the stable RETRIBUTION on WWE, was amongst the people enraged by the inappropriate joke. Almost all of the protestors in Washington yesterday were Caucasians, which is why T-Bar found the meme even more ridiculous.
He quoted the tweet and wrote that he is the only white American in the group. Not only that, he called the comparison of the protestors in the photo with members of RETRIBUTION as embarrassing.
It is understandable why Dominik Dijakovic (T-Bar) would find it inappropriate. The right-wing rally that took place on the 6th of January was not only uncalled for, but was also offensive for a large number of people.
While the situation was brought under control by the police (albeit in a laughably amateur manner), it would go down as one of the most embarrassing events in American history.
