WWE official Sonya Deville promises to be a blockbuster of a WWE Draft this year. She took to her Twitter to share about the Draft,

Deville mentioned that WWE Draft will start from this Friday night SmackDown Live and stated that fans should not miss and it will be bigger than anyone’s exception. Additionally, she hints at some big transfers which might take place tonight.

The WWE Draft will start from tonight’s SmackDown episode and continue the October 4 Monday Night Raw episode. 

Some big names like Carmella, Sasha Banks, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Sheamus, and big NXT rosters like Vikings and LA Knight are included in the 2021 WWE Draft.

Previously there are some great first draft picks in WWE Draft history

The WWE Draft was first introduced in 2002 as a part of the WWE Brand Split. The main factor of the Draft is always the one who is the No.1 overall pick, and this always had quite an impact on the 19 years draft history.

The First big name is The Rock, the first overall pick in the Draft history when Vince McMahon chose The Rock, followed by Ric Flair, who chose Undertaker.

Another big name is of the sixteen-time world champion John Cena who was the first overall pick in the 2005 draft and was brought to Monday Night Raw. The Great Khali was a significant draft pick in the 2007 WWE draft when drafted to SmackDown.

In the 2008 WWE Draft, Rey Mysterio was the first pick, brought to Raw. Kelly Kelly was the first woman ever to be selected as the first pick in the WWE Draft. She was sent to SmackDown.
