Sasha Banks’ harmless Tweet garners so much hate on Social Media

Sasha Banks’ recent Twitter post was met with widespread criticism

Banks is one of the most popular modern-day WWE superstars. She has a following of over 2 million on Twitter, and a lot more across various social media platforms.

More recently, Banks put out a tweet. Poor Banks wouldn’t have thought such a harmless Tweet would garner so much hate.

Banks tweeted that she had a vision of producing an all women’s wrestling show.

“Had a vision of producing and promoting an all women’s pro wrestling show.”

A truckload of fans pointed out that a lot of such shows already existed rather than just appreciating Banks’ vision.

In the wake of this, WWE RAW wrestler Shayna Baszler came to the support of Banks. She wrote on her Twitter handle:

“Had a dream about writing a book one day!” “cAn’T wE JuSt aPPr3CiAtE tHe bOOkS tHaT aRe wRiTTen aLrEaDy?!?”

Though there are female only wrestling shows, they haven’t gained traction as much as the WWE or even a second tier wrestling promotion would have gained.

But, when someone like Banks makes it happen, it will indeed have a lot of possibilities to break the shackles of being unpopular.

Mickie James chimes in as well

James put out a reply to Banks’ tweet stating that she did have a plan like that once.

Banks was referring to an idea she had put forward to the WWE, something which she revealed immediately after her release from the promotion.

James had said:

“[I pitched WWE] a concept like this [GAW TV] with all women. Like who you wear, what you drinking, what’s going on in the fashion world? What’s going on in pop culture? And I may as been talking to my dog. I legit had three heads going ‘Uh’ and it was even for ideas I pitched where I wasn’t the star.” [via WrestlingInc]
