Seth Rollins has had a great career so far in WWE and is a Grand Slam champion. He has been involved in some of the most highly-acclaimed matches during his tenure in the company
This week on The Tonight Show, Seth Rollins came as a special guest and spoke all things related to WWE and WrestleMania.
During the audience suggestion box segment of the show, a fan wished to see the host Jimmy Fallon, somehow connect WWE and St. Patrick’s Day. Falcon read out the note from the fan:
“It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day, and WWE is kicking butt. It’s never been better. Could you maybe combine the two things?”
Falcon fulfilled the fan’s wish as he introduced Seth Rollins, who came out with his entrance theme running in the background. He took the pot of gold that the Leprechaun was holding and hit him in the stomach with it and delivered a Curb Stomp. The audience cheered for Rollins at the top of their lungs as The Visionary soaked in the applause.
No Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38?
While WWE tried to use the 35-year-old stomping a Leprechaun angle, he surely isn’t gonna have a fight with the supernatural character from Irish Folklore at WrestleMania.
Seth Rollins isn’t on the WrestleMania card as yet. John Cena, a few years ago had this sort of a situation. He eventually called out The Undertaker for a match at The Grandest Stage of Them All. This was at WrestleMania 34.
Rollins tried to steal his friend Kevin Owens’ idea this week on RAW. He also wanted to host Stone Cold Steve Austin on his own talk show at WrestleMania. They faced each other in a match in the main event of RAW and the catch was that the winner would get a chance to host Austin at ‘Mania.
Owens won the match and Seth was left staring down the barrel with nothing to do at The Show of Shows. There are rumors of Rollins facing the returning Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. However, there is no official confirmation of the same as yet.
