Seth Rollins doesn’t like to compare himself with former teammate Roman Reigns
Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns made up half ‘The Shield’ when the stable rose to prominence in the early 2010s on WWE.
The two, along with Dean Ambrose, started out as mercenaries for CM Punk. But the trio then found success later on without him.
The stable had a couple of years at the top and dissolved in 2014 after Rollins betrayed the members and Reigns cut his ties.
But it seems that their friendship has stayed alive from that time. Just a few weeks ago, Reigns spoke really highly of Rollins in an interview when his rivalry with Cesaro had just started.
And earlier this week, WWEonFOX’s Twitter account shared a tweet asking fans to choose between Rollins and Reigns. Rollins found the tweet and replied to it, saying that the two do not need to be compared.

And he added that people were lucky that they were living in the same era as the two, going on to call Reigns and himself ‘GOATs’. His tweet read:
“BE BLESSED that you exist in a MOMENT where YOU GET US BOTH! 2 [Goat emoji]s ARE BETTER THAN ONE!!”
Both of them have had different paths since the shield split. And it is Reigns who has unarguably gone on to become the face of the promotion.
But Rollins isn’t too far behind as he too has main-evented some memorable WrestleMania matches. The most recent appearances at the grandest stage of them all for the both of them came at WrestleMania 37.
Reigns pinned both Edge and Daniel Bryan in dominating fashion to retain his WWE Universal title, while the self-proclaimed ‘Mr. WrestleMania’ lost to Cesaro in a singles match.
