Sami Zayn has nice words for his opponent Finn Balor before their King of the ring match
The semi finals of King of the Ring will see Sami Zayn go up against Finn Balor on this week’s Friday night SmackDown. Zayn surprisingly beat Rey Mysterio to advance to the semi finals whereas Balor put away the Swiss Superman Cesaro for a spot in the semi finals.
Before the two square off in the ring, Zayn has took to Twitter to show some respect to his opponent. Zayn said:
“Always a pleasure to step into the ring with the great Finn Balor, and you can be assured: this match will rule. The only thing that would rule even harder would be defeating Xavier Woods in the finals to become the #KingOfTheRing.”
Zayn has mentioned it’s great to step in the ring with Balor again, he also assured the fans that this match is going to be a great watch by claiming “this match will rule.” Zayn also went on to predict that only thing that will top this match will be defeating Xavier Woods in the final at Crown Jewel.
What has happened in the King of the Ring so far?
The first rounds or the quarter finals, whatever you wanna call it have been done so far in King of the Ring. As mentioned earlier, Balor and Zayn will be fighting each other on the upcoming SmackDown.
On Monday night Raw, Ricochet went up against Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston faced Jinder Mahal. A semi-final clash between Woods and Mahal has been scheduled after they managed to beat their respective opponents.
