Renee Paquette (wife of former Shield member Dean Ambrose aka Jon Moxley) reacted to Seth Rollins’ entrance at the Royal Rumble 2022 in Shield gear
Seth Rollins took on ‘The Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship. The match kicked off Royal Rumble 2022.
Despite Rollins getting the better of Reigns for a large part of the match, it was Reigns who had the last laugh, albeit in a twisted way.
Failing to comply with the referee’s commands to let Rollins go (when he had him in a guillotine whilst Rollins was grabbing the ropes), Reigns lost the match via disqualification.
Rollins took the W but not the title as it needed a pinfall or submission for a title shift.
Besides the ending, the match was hailed by a large chunk of the Wrestling community.
Following the match, Reigns battered Rollins with a chair, only to multiply his misery.
Renee Paquette reacts to Seth Rollins’ Shield-esque entrance
There was more to the match as Seth Rollins made his way to the ring in The Shield Gear with the Shield’s entrance music playing along.
Rollins probably did that to probably unsettle his former teammate. It is worth noting that The Shield is considered to be one of the most successful and popular stables in professional wrestling history. It comprised of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley of AEW).
Following Rollins’ entrance in the Shield Gear, former WWE host Renee Paquette (wife of former Shield member Jon Moxley) took to Twitter to reveal that she felt nostalgic.
