WWE Roman Reigns shares reaction after match with Edge at Money in the Bank

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is all set to take on the Rated-R Superstar Edge at Money in the Bank.

Edge returned to SmackDown after last appearing at WrestleMania 37 against Reigns and Daniel Bryan. His attack on Reigns ignited a resumption of their rivalry, which will be now settled at Money in the Bank.

Reigns, meanwhile, had an interesting response on Twitter after the match announcement. The Tribal Chief claimed that Edge wanted to revisit the Island of Relevancy, a coin termed by the champion, again.

The champion also amped up a 1 vs 1 battle with Edge ahead of MITB.

Reigns, alongside Paul Heyman has become one of the destructive champions in WWE history. After facing almost all wrestlers from the roster, Reigns is going to face his toughest test yet as he meets Edge in a singles match for the first time ever.

The Head of the Table was saved by his cousin Jimmy Uso, who was speared through the barricade by Edge. Before the end, Edge announces that he’s here and asked for Reigns to come face him.

Edge is a WWE Hall of Famer and has one of the most illustrious career in the history of the company. His return is sure to keep Reigns on his toes and will push him to the limit.

Edge doing a great job since WWE return

Edge’s announcement in 2011 about his shock retirement still stands as one of the most emotional moments in WWE Raw history. The Rated-R Superstar’s return came in 2020 at the Royal Rumble to everyone’s shock.

He went on to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 36 and Backlash. However, The Rated R-Superstar’s return was marred by a torn tricep which kept him out for the entire of 2020.

His return came at the 2021 Royal Rumble, which he won to challenge WWE Universal Champion Reigns.

Reigns and Edge have traded blows on SmackDown since then until Reigns defended the title successfully.

The 11-time Champion has an opportunity to win the WWE Universal Championship but has his work cut out against The Tribal Chief, who has been dominating since regaining the title in August 2020.
