Queen Zelina makes history on Monday night Raw after winning tag team title
This week’s Monday night Raw was memorable for a lot of reasons, especially for Queen Zelina as she got her hands on the Raw women’s tag team championship. Zelina along with Carmella took on Rhea Ripley and Nikki ASH for the tag team titles and earned a hard fought victory.
Zelina and Carmella have had quite the turnaround in their relationship. The pair previously fought each other in the Queen’s Crown tournament leading up to Crown Jewel which saw the Trinidad pick up a victory to advance to the next round.
Now, the former opponents have linked up to become the red brand’s women’s tag team champions. This victory was historic for Zelina as she became the tag team champion while simultaneously being the Queen of WWE.
How did Queen Zelina react to her historic victory?
As one would assume, Zelina was ecstatic after getting her hands on the tag titles. It is worth noting that she etched her name in the history books by becoming the first ever Queen of the WWE at Crown Jewel. Now, after winning the tag team championship, Zelina took to Twitter to react to her historic victory where she said:
“ANOTHER HISTORY MAKING MOMENT FOR YOUR QUEEN!!! FIRST EVER QUEEN OF @WWE AND NOWWWWW… QUEEN OF WWE AND WOMENS TAG TEAM CHAMPION!!!! #ANDNEW #ROYALBEAUTY”
Zelina has caught quite a bit of momentum in the WWE recently and is slowly but surely becoming the top draw in the Women’s division. It will be interesting to see how her tag team championship reign goes with her former opponent Carmella.
