Naomi faced Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville in a handicap match on the recent episode of WWE SmackDown
Naomi was left red-faced after her loss to Sonya Deville and Shayna Baszler on the latest episode of SmackDown.
Just as Naomi was gearing up to face WWE official Deville who was making her return to in-ring action (after quite a long time), Deville announced that she would be joined by Baszler and the match would be a handicap match.
It is worth noting that, this was Deville’s first match in almost 14 months.
She had lost to Mandy Rose at SummerSlam 2020 previously.
A fuming Naomi was up for it, and despite getting a foothold in the match early on, she succumbed to a Kirifuda clutch from Baszler later on in the match.
Deville ended up pinning a downed Naomi, for the win. It was a clear abuse of power by heel Deville, and it looks like she might end up teaming for a powerhouse combination with Baszler.
Naomi reacts to her loss
Later that night, Naomi took to Twitter to react to her loss. She slammed Shayna Baszler claiming that she was “doing Deville’s dirty work” because she was broke.
Here is what Naomi had to say:
“The word on the street is @QoSBaszler is broke, had to move in with @sonyadevillewwe, and is now doing her dirty work to pay off her debts 😂 I’m going to bed goodnight.”
