Gage Goldberg stepped into the ring at SummerSlam 2021 to come to the aid of his father Goldberg
Goldberg took on Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2021 in a quest for the WWE Championship.
The match saw Lashley win with the aid of the Hurt Business leader, MVP.
Just as Goldberg attacked Lashley with the spear, MVP pulled into the ring and attacked Goldberg with his cane.
Lashley then kept attacking Goldberg right on the injured knee until he was unable to continue.
In the end, Lashley retained the title via. referee stoppage.
But he was not done. Lashley began attacking Goldberg on the knee with a steel chair.
That’s when Goldberg’s son Gage Goldberg jumped the railing and rushed in to help his father. Just as Gage entered the ring, he was put in a Hurt Lock by Lashley and ragdolled for a while, even as his dad Goldberg was seen struggling on the other side of the ring.
Once Goldberg was able to pick himself up he came to the aid of his son.
MVP wants Gage Goldberg in jail
Fans of Goldberg were absolutely livid with the treatment Gage Goldberg was given.
A fan replied to WWE’s post saying that Bobby Lashley must go to jail for putting his hands on a kid.
However, MVP thought differently. He wanted Gage jailed for “hopping the railing and attacking Bobby.”
Here is what MVP’s reply read:
“But that kid shouldn’t go to jail for hopping the railing and attacking Bobby?”
Lashley, has now thwarted the challenges of Drew McIntyre and Goldberg in massive PPV events, and successfully defended his title.
