Ali shared that Rodriguez was there when Ali was called out for a try out with WWE. He mentions that he was at an event where locals fought to be scouted for the promotion.

Rodriguez searched Ali on YouTube and advised him what to do and what to avoid when in the ring. Rodriguez advised him to do his iconic ‘054’ in the ring, despite Ali being against it.

Ali also mentions that the Usos were watching the match while he successfully connected the move. He then says that it was the reason behind WWE inviting him for an official tryout.

The rest, as they say, his history. Ali made his debut in 2016 with WWE and has gone on to become one of the most famous wrestlers on the main roster.
