Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre teases match with John Cena at WrestleMania
‘The Scottish Psycopath’ Drew McIntyre is highly interested in a blockbuster match against 16-time World Champion, John Cena at WrestleMania 39.
McIntyre has risen through the ranks in WWE, while John Cena was dominating as the face of WWE and is interested in a fight after starring in a T-Mobile video teaser. The video showed a possible showdown between McIntyre and Cena in 2023. McIntyre respects Cena and would be 100% willing to fight the leader of the Cenation soon. “100%, and I hope it happens. I’ve been around John since I was 22. I turned 36 last week and I think it was. Important singles I’ve never had a match before. We’ve never actually played a singles match, so I’m impressed. We’ve been playing tag matches and multiman matches together, , There was never a single match. “
“Where I was in my career today and was able to reach the top of the industry after so many ups and downs, and where John is, he is now at another level. He conquers WWE. And conquered Hollywood. Cena has been barely appearing on WWE since his move to Hollywood. He last featured at WrestleMania 36 against Bray Wyatt. In his time, Cena has won more World titles than any other Superstar other than the Nature Boy, Ric Flair.
Cena is rumoured to make his return at Summerslam in August this year. He is mostly going to face WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the title. He is currently promoting his new film, F9: The Fast Saga. Cena’s return is good for the company as they welcome back crowds to a packed Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
