Date for SummerSlam officially released by WWE as plans for live tour take another step forward

A return to the road was in motion ever since Adam Pearce was promoted to oversee the coordination and functioning of live tour events.

WWE had to stop its roadshows due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but things have taken a positive turn. The company has announced its intentions of a 25-city live tour in the summer.

Several dates and locations for the shows were already revealed, and the official account confirmed today that the date for SummerSlam 2021 is also out.

22nd August was being quoted by many as a possible date, but as it turns out, the date for SummerSlam 2021 is 21st August. However, there is no news on the location of the event.

A follow-up tweet by the account revealed that the location of the event will be revealed during the Belmont Stakes pre-race show on NBC which airs on 5th June.

Apart from SummerSlam, location and date revealed for three more live tour shows

WWE is doing a 25-city live tour in the summer which commences on June 16th this month. Dates for 6 shows have been revealed and 21 more were confirmed earlier today.

It has been a long time away from fans for WWE. The stars have always spoken about how much they miss wrestling in front of packed arenas.

And as much as the limited-capacity arenas were fun, they were just not the same as before. But it now seems that things are returning to normal.

Fans can catch their favourite WWE superstars in the city of their choice with WWE travelling a total of 25 cities across the United States of America.
