Former WWE Superstar Lana reveals she was depressed after the release of her husband

Former WWE Raw Superstar Lana has revealed that she suffered from depression after hearing the news of her husband, Miro’s release.

Lana was also sad about the way her husband Miro was released from the company after a stint of unsuccessful bookings.

The former WWE star speaks on Talk is Jericho talking about the struggle she faced after WWE let go of Miro. She says: (h/t Rajah.com)

“Honestly, when Miro got let go, for me personally it was harder when Miro got let go. Just in general. I was a lot more depressed, I was a lot more sad… That f***** me up. First of all I was shook. Never in a million years did I think he would be fired before me. And that place makes you feel that way.”

“That place makes you feel that men are more important than women. That place makes you feel that way especially if you are a manager or a valet, you’re secondary. And maybe you are secondary, but I do feel like I was a big part of his success. I feel like I’m a big part of his success behind closed doors, in AEW. And I can talk about that now.”

Miro is now part of AEW and is the current TNT champion with Andrade El Idolo lurking for his title after calling him out recently. Miro and Lana were one of the famous power couples in WWE, with Lana managing the Bulgarian through big feuds including John Cena.

When do we expect to see Lana?

Lana is also part of the WWE releases this June along with Aleister Black and Braun Strowman. She was part of WWE RAW and was famously part of a feud with Nia Jax, being put through the commentary table.

She can sign after the 90-day no compete clause for any promotion. There are rumours that she will be looking to join her husband Miro on AEW. Lana moved to in-ring action after years of managing her husband and developed a knack for picking up upset wins.
