Lacey Evans begins romantic angle with Ric Flair as her feud with Charlotte Flair continues

This week’s WWE Monday Night RAW left no doubt as to what is going on between Lacey Evans Ric Flair. Last week, Evans kissed the Nature Boy after she beat his daughter inside the ring.

The ending of that fight saw Charlotte banish her father backstage, who looked dejected and even apologized later on social media.

However, things took a massive turn this week as he completely turned against the Queen.

Charlotte was under the impression that her father was not inside the arena when she took on Lacey Evans this week. She was in for a shock when he not only appeared between the match but helped Evans win.

The former WWE wrestler put Evans’ foot on the rope to save her from being pinned. Later, he tripped his own daughter and prevented her from kicking out by holding down her leg.

After the match, Evans and Flair appeared backstage where the female wrestler said she’d just ‘change at the hotel’.

Implying a romantic angle with those comments, she also made sure to rub it in the face of Charlotte on Twitter.

She posted boasting of the luxuries she has been getting by being with the Nature Boy. To add salt to injury, she referred to Ric Flair as “daddy” in the post.

From a fan’s point of view, it’s good seeing Flair’s trademark personality emerge again. He was humiliated and shown weak by the storylines for far too long.

This is a refreshing change and adds an interesting angle in the feud between Evans and the Queen, which is sure to escalate in the coming days.
