Pat McAfee and Adam Cole were involved in a brawl on this week’s NXT

Undisputed Era member Kyle O’Reilly has opened up on the brawl between Adam Cole and Pat McAfee from this week’s WWE NXT.

The rivalry between the two started when Cole was a guest on McAfee’s podcast. McAfee, a former NFL star, had questioned Cole’s stature and size and that set off the former NXT Champion.

Pat McAfee and Adal Cole clashed on this week's show

While Cole pushed one of the cast members, he also destroyed a microphone on the show. However, things seemed to have been forgotten as the pair talked it out ahead of this week’s NXT.

McAfee was on commentary duty during the main event, and Cole threw water at the kicker. A brawl ensued before McAfee took advantage and knocked out Cole with a kick.

O’Reilly, who was in action in the main event, shared his thoughts on the former NFL star, and called him a “slimy instigator”.

“Still processing last night. At first I almost sided with Pat thinking Adam crossed the line on the podcast which admittedly I saw out of context. Now I know Pat is a slimy instigator who’s covering for his own insecurities. He doesn’t belong within 50ft of a wrestling ring imo.”

Many questioning McAfee

McAfee first claimed that it was Cole who was responsible for all this, but he did post the next morning.

The NFL star claimed a lot had happened over this incident, and Charly Caruso was the latest to question him regarding all this.

Triple H also spoke out about the incident and is open to a wrestling match between Cole and McAfee.

It will be interesting to see what happens next between the pair. However, one thing is certain, Cole will be looking for revenge against his latest rival.
