WWE had to release Keith Lee because of his attitude problems backstage
The recent release of Keith Lee has sparked conversations regarding the reason for his release. WWE released 18 of their wrestlers this past week on 4th of November. One of those 18 happened to be Lee. Recent reports have now revealed the reason behind the release of the WWE star.
Wade Keller of PWTorch revealed that Lee had attitude issues and that played a major role in his release. Keller reported:
“Keith Lee, I have chronicled for months and months and months and months and months, was somebody that even people who were rooting for him behind the scenes, became frustrated with him. He just had, in general, attitude issues. Or, as one wrestler told me tonight, ‘perceived attitude issues,” hedging a little bit. Others have said outright — attitude problems. He just was frustrated. I’ve heard different things about him in terms of his mood being altered, way more than it should in the modern era, about being asked to do a job.”
From what it seems Lee had major attitude problems backstage. The reason for the same can be said that he was left frustrated many times because of the things he was asked to do for his character. It is worth noting that Lee was made to change his character multiple times during his time in WWE. It is by no means a good look for Lee who will be in search for a new promotion to get signed too.
Which WWE star was released after signing a new contract?
B-Fab is certainly not the biggest name to have been released in the latest WWE roster cuts. However, she is probably the most questionable release by the company. It is reported that the Hit Row member had recently signed a new contract with the WWE.
