Karrion Kross made his main roster return on Monday Night Raw, more than 6 years after appearing in the red brand in a one-off appearance
Karrion Kross is currently the NXT Champion in his record-equalling second reign. On the 22nd of August at NXT Takeover XXX, Kross won the NXT Championship for the first time in his career.
However, just 4 days later he vacated the title, since he had suffered a separated shoulder. He returned on the 9th of December, Kross returned, and in five months time, on the 8th of April 2021, he went on to win the title for the second time, at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, against Finn Balor.
He then went on to successfully defend his titles against several opponents, including Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, and also in a fatal 5-way match.
More recently, on the 19th July episode of Monday, Kross made his return to Monday Night Raw, more than 6 years after his one-off appearance on the 16th of February, 2015. He faced Jeff Hardy and was defeated by rollup, resulting in his first-ever pinfall loss in WWE.
Stars unhappy with Karrion Kross’ lightning-quick loss to Jeff Hardy
According to reports from fightfulselect.com, several NXT stars were irate with the way Karrion Kross was handled on Monday Night Raw. They are believed to have shared their shock and disgust about how the NXT Champion lost tamely.
The entire mood among the NXT roster is said to have been a picture of disappointment. One must also not forget the stars who worked hard to get Kross where he is currently.
The WWE must do something to prove that they do not bury or revamp anyone who turns up from the NXT Roster.
