Jinder Mahal beat Jeff Hardy twice within a gap of few days
Jinder Mahal returned to WWE RAW, having made his previous appearance over a year before. He was accompanied by Veer and Shanky of India.
He took on veteran Jeff Hardy and pinned him, after having him pinned just a few days before at WWE Main Event.
A lot of eyebrows were raised due to the treatment, a veteran like Hardy was getting. Many felt that Hardy was being subject to ‘punishment’ from the WWE.
However, recent news suggest that the WWE is in fact not subjecting Hardy to punishment, and instead have a few exciting things planned for the high-flying veteran.
A WWE source recently told WrestlingNews.co that Hardy’s contract will not be expiring anytime soon, as there are more than 2 years left in it.
The report from WrestlingNews.co read:
“WrestlingNews.co asked someone at WWE about this and we were told that Hardy has 2 more years left on his deal.” [via Wrestling Edge]
It was further learnt that the WWE is also planning on changing his theme song.
The report stated:
“We are told that the change of theme music is still in the cards and he is not getting buried. We were told that WWE is simply rotating talent so some people will be moved to the backburner for now.” [via Wrestling-Edge]
The WWE has big things in store for Jinder Mahal
Jinder Mahal is set to go on a wild run; at least that is what the latest WWE rumours say. It is being speculated that Mahal will be getting a big push from the WWE. He might be entering a feud with The ‘Scottish Psychopath’ Drew McIntyre very soon.
Reports from WrestlingNews.co state that the WWE have planned a huge push for the Enlightened One, and that he is expected to face McIntyre during the summer months.
Pretty stunning to see how things have remarkably turned for the good, for both McIntyre and Mahal. Both were released by the WWE in 2014.
Mahal made a resounding comeback in 2016, and just a year later he captured the WWE Championship beating Randy Orton. It was during that time, McIntyre made his re-entry into the WWE.
It is worthy to mention that both the wrestlers had unbelievably transformed their physique, in their second coming.
