The latest episode of WWE NXT witnessed the engagement of Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis
It was coming, all along. Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis finally got engaged in the latest episode of WWE NXT. The pair have been involved in an on-screen relationship for quite a while.
‘InDex’ paired up for the first time inside the WWE Ring, and took on Robert Stone and Jessi Kamea of the Robert Stone Brand.
Hartwell and Lumis made quick work of Stone and Kamea, easing their way to victory.
Following their win, Hartwell proposed to Lumis in the center of the ring, even as the crowd cheered on.
Lumis quickly accepted her proposal, with Hartwell putting a laddish ring onto Lumis’ finger.
However, the members of ‘The Way’ weren’t particularly impressed, with leader Johnny Gargano claiming that he wouldn’t pay for their wedding, before going on to fire shots at Lumis saying that he was a cheapo, in an interview backstage.
It will be interesting to see how things pan out between Hartwell and other members of ‘The Way”, with the faction irate with Hartwell over the last few weeks.
Indi Hartwell reacts to her engagement with Dexter Lumis
Indi Hartwell was over the moon once Lumis said, “Yes.” The pair embraced for a smooch just like it has always been over the past couple of months.
Hartwell had another reason to be elated. It was her birthday, as she turned 25 on the 17th of August.
Taking to Twitter, Hartwell wrote:
“What a birthday.”
