Indi Hartwell proposed to on-screen boyfriend Dexter Lumis in the latest episode of WWE NXT
Indi Hartwell had an amazing birthday. She teamed up with her boyfriend Dexter Lumis for the first time inside the ring.
The pair took on Jessi Kamea and Robert Stone of ‘The Robert Stone Brand’ and beat them quite easily.
‘InDex’ as they are known now, have been going strong for the last few months. Hartwell took it to the level following their win over Kamea and Stone by proposing to Lumis.
Lumis said, “Yes,” even as the crowd cheered them on. Hartwell then inserted a ‘macho-esque’ ring on Lumis’ finger.
Hartwell’s delight knew no bounds, as she took to Twitter to share her birthday-delight:
“What a birthday”, Hartwell wrote.
However, Hartwell’s teammates of The Way – Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano weren’t happy with her. Gargano vehemently refused to pay for their wedding, afterwards in an interview backstage.
Indi Hartwell compares her proposal to CM Punk and AJ Lee’s
Indi Hartwell took to Instagram to compare her proposal to AJ Lee’s proposal to CM Punk, back in 2012.
The only difference between the two was, Lumis said yes, and although Punk did say yes, he didn’t do the same inside the ring since Daniel Bryan interrupted ‘their moment’.
Punk and Lee ended up marrying in real life, two years later, and they have been married for more than 7 years.
