Former WWE Champion Randy Orton opens about being a huge fan of WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg

Randy Orton recently appeared on the latest edition of Out of Character, where he opened up about his love for WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg.

While speaking in the interview, he revealed that he is a massive fan of Goldberg and once went to a tattoo shop to get a tattoo of the WWE legend. He was crazy for Bill and spoke about the incident,

“As a wrestling fan in my teenage years in high school, I loved Goldberg, so I actually, my first tattoo, I went into the tattoo shop, and I told the guy I wanted the Goldberg tattoo. I swear to god. Well, so I’m not The Legend Killer, The Viper, you know… I’m 18. I can get some ink now, and I want to look tough da** it. So Goldberg’s my guy, and I’m an idiot [Laughter]. So you know, the tattoo artist said, ‘How about, let’s come up with something that’s just for you,’ So okay, that’s a good idea. And so you know, some version, one of this was born. But anyway, I forgot what we were talking about. I don’t know if I’ve ever told that story before, because it’s pretty embarrassing that I would even… but, yeah, there you go,” said (16:42-17:54)

Orton has faced Goldberg on multiple occasions. However, when Evolution feuded with Goldberg for a brief period, the duo only had one single match won by the Former World Champion Goldberg.

“My legacy, I think longevity. I think finding a way to do it in a smart way to where you stay true to things from the era of my father. I want my legacy to be that I made sure that guys like Edge, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, and God, I miss Daniel Bryan [Bryan Danielson] and I wish he was still here. Finn Balor, these guys that are coming up like [Damian] Priest, [Austin] Theory, Street Profits, Riddle, especially. These guys that have all the potential in the world and, in some cases, Roman [Reigns] as well – these guys that can work and know the art of this business. I want my legacy to be that I was able to, with these gentlemen, take this business to the next generation that the new wave of talent knows how to do it the right way.

Orton has been a part of the industry for almost two decades now, making his debut in 2002. He has won every championship in WWE and recently completed a record of appearing in WrestleMania with multiple championship titles.
