The Hurt Business has reunited on Raw
The Hurt Business just reunited in Raw. During the WWE Championship match between Big E and Bobby Lashley former Hurt Business members Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander were ringside to support Lashley.
After the episode Alexander took to Twitter to share his reaction where he said:
“Did you miss us?”
This marked their reunion after splitting up back in March this year. Upon seeing them ringside Big E’s New Day mates Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods came to balance things out. This resulted in a huge brawl between the two stables and the match ended in a no contest.
Big E was later booked to face Lashley in a steel cage match later on Raw and managed to retain his WWE Championship.
Why did the Hurt Business split up?
The Hurt Business officially took it’s shape in September last year when Alexander joined the stable. Alexander along with Benjamin had won the Tag Team championship only to lose it to New Day after a while.
Lashley kicked the two out of the stable when they lost a 2 on 1 handicap match against Drew McIntyre which banned them from the ringside of Lashley vs McIntyre. After Lashley lost his title to Bid E, Alexander took to Twitter to take a shot at Lashley. Alexander said:
“If only you had some backup”
It seems like Alexander’s Tweet managed make a point to Lashley and just two weeks after this Tweet, The stable officially reunited on this Week’s Monday Night Raw.
