In the accident, a 75-year-old man has lost his life. Tammy has been suspected to be under the influence of alcohol by the police while she was driving at the time of the unfortunate incident.

The Ormond Beach Police Dept. spelled out the allegations against the 49-year-old. As per TMZ Sports, they have mentioned the time of the accident at around 8:28 PM on March 25. They also mentioned the place where the incident took place – U.S. Highway 1 in Volusia County.

According to the docs, Sytch was driving a 2012 Mercedes. She crashed into the rear of a 2013 Kia Sorento that had been stopped at a stoplight.

Police in the documents says the front of the Kia then crashed into the rear of a 2011 GMC Yukon that had also been stopped at the stoplight.

This is not the first time Tammy Lynn Sytch has been accused of drinking and driving

She has been arrested at least on six occasions for DUI. One of the instances happened back in 2019 in New Jersey.

Sytch was also arrested earlier in the year for allegedly threatening to kill a man with a pair of scissors.

As far as her latest mishap is concerned, the cops mentioned that two witnesses said she had been “driving at a high rate of speed” before colliding with the Kia.

In the docs, the officers have mentioned that the driver of the Kia was taken to a nearby hospital but didn’t survive owing to the injuries suffered during the accident. According to the officers, Sytch was also taken to the same hospital but her injuries were not known.

It was also stated in the docs that the driver and passengers in the Yukon complained of head, neck, and back injuries but were not transported to the hospital.

Sytch’s blood sample was taken but the results are yet to be received.

A spokesperson for the Ormond Beach Police Dept. spoke to TMZ Sports and said they are actively investigating the crash. He also mentioned that toxicology results could ultimately lead to criminal charges against Sytch.

“OBPD has requested an expedited timeframe on the processing of these samples,” the spokesperson said, “and the results will be made available as soon as the department receives them.”
