Goldberg blasts Bobby Lashley over how WWE title is being treated

Goldberg is set to take on Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship soon

Goldberg is not a fan of the way Bobby Lashley has been representing the WWE Championship.

Since returning to the WWE in 2018, Lashley quickly rose through the ranks, and is now the WWE Champion. Lashley won the title after beating the Miz in a lumberjack match in March 2021.

Ever since he won, Lashley has gone on to put up multiple title defenses, and in the minds of the fans, he is a deserving champion.

Elsewhere, Goldberg returned to the WWE on the 19th of July and challenged Lashley for the title. Lashley who was initially reluctant about accepting Goldberg’s challenge, later agreed to the same.

The pair are set to clash at SummerSlam 2021 in the Allegiant Stadium for the WWE Championship.

With the mega-event only a week away, Goldberg caught up with WWE India, and shared his thoughts on Lashley holding the WWE title belt.

The veteran wrestler was not impressed with the way he represented the championship and vowed to defeat him, come next weekend.

He was quoted as saying:

“There is a way you should represent the championship title and I don’t believe he’s been doing it properly. He’s very callous. In this match, my name should not be Goldberg, it should be karma. He deserves a lot of things coming to him and I will hopefully be the guy who delivers that.” [via Ring Side News]
