Former WWE Superstar Gail Kim opens about where she learned the ‘Eat Defeat’ manoeuvre

Former WWE Superstar Gail Kim’s Eat Defeat is one of the most notorious finishers in all of wrestling, and as such, it is finally revealed that it wasn’t exclusive to Gail Kim for long, and she was not the one who invented it.

Kim recently made her appearance at WrestleCade Revenge in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. While speaking to Sean Ross Sapp, she revealed that not everybody who has made a move asked for her permission to use it, the only person who did was WWE Superstar Mia Yim.

Gail also mentioned where she learned the move and what actually upsets her when people use the movement now. She also said that people should use it as a finisher.

“My wrestling school that I trained in Toronto [is where she learned the move]. My only thing is you don’t have to ask me necessarily, but I don’t like when people don’t use it as a finisher. Because that’s what’s more disrespectful, I think. You don’t use it as a transition move or whatever. Use it as a finish at least.” (H/t Fightful)

Gail Kim has all the praise for Xavier Woods for doing the ‘Eat Defeat’ properly

Kim mentioned that she heard from fans that Enzo Amore made a move poorly. But has all the praise for King of the Ring Xavier Woods, who made a move correctly when she saw it.

I mean, I’ve been told through fans, but I like him, that Enzo did it like crap,” Kim said. “I don’t know if this is true because I saw it one time that he did it. Didn’t Creed use it too? He did a good one.”

Kim is a part of IMPACT Wrestling Hard to Kill.
