Former WWE Superstar Mia Yim wants to have her dream match with King Xavier Woods
Mia Yim was recently released by WWE after being drafted to Monday Night Raw. The release was a shock for many fans as they all wanted Yim to have a good run on Raw and also wanted to see her going against King Woods in an intergender match.
Last Year, Woods badly wanted a match against Yim when she was a part of Retribution. A fan recently shared a tweet going back to the time when Woods challenged Yim for an intergender match.
It didn’t take much time for Yim, who took to Twitter and commented on the fan’s tweet. She revealed that she was holding onto the hope of having the dream match against Woods.
Her Tweet read:
“I’m holding onto hope I’ll have my dream match with @AustinCreedWins.”
She recently also tweeted about bringing back her old finisher since she is no longer working with the company.
Mia Yim was one of the best potentials for WWE
Mia Yim had a bright future in WWE and had one of the great runs in NXT. She was even called up to the main roster, but who would have thought it would halt after that.
She had some time in Retribution which proved to be her final time with the company. When RETRIBUTION was disbanded, Yim was later assigned to SmackDown but soon was released by the company on November 4 2021.
Her final match came in a losing cause against Nikki A.S.H on December 28, 2020. After that, she spent almost an entire year away from the ring before being let go by WWE. The sad part is that she never got to show her true potential, but you never know that Yim might make a comeback and face Woods in the future.
