WWE Hall of Famer Edge and Damian Priest’s new faction name revealed on Monday Night Raw
WWE Hall of Famer Edge and Damian Priest’s faction finally has a new name reveal this week on Monday Night Raw. The dup joined hands together at WrestleMania 38 when Priest interfered during AJ Styles and Edge’s match. As a result, they two are now the top heels of the brand.
Monday Night Raw saw Priest face off against Finn Balor in one-on-one action. Edge accompanied Priest, who sat on the Ramp and watched the bout. The Ring announcer revealed the name of Priest and Edge’s new faction as “Judgement Day.”
Damian went on to hit his new finishing move against Balor to get the win. After the match, the former bowed down to Edge to the allegiance to the Hall of Famer.
Former WWE Superstar opens up about joining Judgement Day faction
Former WWE Superstar Gangrel, a part of the legendary faction with Edge called The Brood, opens up about being interested in being a part of the Judgement Day faction.
In an interaction with Nick Hausman of The Wrestling Inc., Gangrel mentioned being interested in joining the faction. However, he said that there have been no discussions with Christian or Edge on a potential reunion.
“There’s no reunions, no talks, with Christian or Edge,” Gangrel said. “Although it would be really cool to be with Damian Priest and Edge, that’s cool. I love how he’s got a mixed Brood/Taker vibe with the raise of the chair and the fire.” [H/T Wrestling Inc]
He also said that his interaction with Priest has been pretty cool and also mentioned that Rhea Ripley joining the faction would be great.
“And from what I know of Damian Priest, all my interactions with him, a few conversations that I have had with him, he’s a great dude. So, I think they deserve each other, in a good way, and I hope they do really good business, and I hope they do big things. I hope they get Rhea Ripley, and some really cool people in this faction, and so some really cool stuff.”
