WWE veteran Edge is currently involved in a feud with Seth Rollins

It looks like Edge is in the twilight phase of his career.

WWE SmackDown heads to Madison Square Garden, next Friday, and it features a showdown between Edge and Seth Rollins.

The two have been going at it for a while.

In a recent Tweet, Edge mentioned that his fight against Rollins at the Madison Square Garden could be his last ever in the iconic arena (in New York as well).

He also claimed that he never thought previously about wrestling at the MSG again.

Edge’s Tweet read:

“Friday. Smackdown. Edge vs Rollins II. The Garden. I never thought I’d have the opportunity to wrestle in MSG again. Realistically this could be the last time I do. Let’s blow the roof off New York.”

Edge made his WWE debut way back in May 1996 (when it was WWF). He was an integral part of the promotion for 15 straight years, before a serious neck and cervical injury put the skids on his career.

He was away from pro-wrestling for almost 9 years, before returning at the 2020 Royal Rumble.

Of late, he has been hinting at retirement in the near future.

Edge and Seth Rollins previously faced off at 2021 SummerSlam

Only a couple of weeks ago, Edge and Seth Rollins faced off. ‘The Rated R Superstar’ brought out his vintage ‘Brood’ entrance.

Edge had little to no trouble dispatching Rollins, as he choked ‘The Aerialist’ until he tapped to emerge victorious.

This will be their second face off.
