Doudrop seemed to have replaced Nia Jax in her current storyline
WWE Star Nia Jax was released by the company last month along with several other superstars. However, a new report noted that WWE Superstar Doudrop’s current WWE Raw was initially meant for Nia Jax before her release.
This Monday night on Raw, Doudrop attacked Bianca Belair before leaving with Tamina and Natalya. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio pointed out that Jax was expected to return to WWE TV on November 15, but since she was released, Doudrop replaced her.
“The Doudrop spot was probably the spot they wanted Nia Jax in. Because if you remember they wanted Nia Jax back by mid-November and when she said no, that’s when they fired her and that is when the Doudrop thing started being, you know.” (H/t Sportskeeda)
Nia Jax posted a heartfelt message after release
After the release of Jax, she was furious as she was on a mental health break, and the company released her without any notice. She posted a note on Instagram and expressed her sorrow.
Jax said about taking a shot leave for mental health and have been working a lot on her comeback and even pointed out that she had the full support of the company to take care of herself.
This release was really heartbreaking for her as she was not ready for this and had to do with so much alone. However, she was one of the most potential stars in WWE, and other Superstars like Paige have also shown their support over her release.
