Johnny Gargano reacts to Indi Hartwell kissing Dexter Lumis on WWE NXT
WWE NXT Superstar Johhny Gargano showed his disappointment after Indi Hartwell ended the episode kissing Dexter Lumis on Tuesday night.
This was in the aftermath of Gargano beating Lumis to get the win, but Hartwell defied the stipulation to run back into the ring to a surprised Lumis.
Gargano found a distracted Lumis and delivered his finisher One Final Beat to get the win, but Hartwell did not seem pleased. The NXT veteran Gargano then reacted on Twitter saying: “Like I always say.. Nothing good ever happens when that lower third NXT graphic pops up!”
This feels like it’s leading to Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis vs. Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano. The stipulation was announced last week as Lumis and Gargano have exchanged blows on various occasions. The stipulation said that if Gargano wins, the Lumis – Indi Hartwell relationship is done, but if Lumis wins, Gargano and Candice LeRae must give it a chance.
This time around Hartwell and Lumis could actually have a positive run on NXT in this storyline. Hartwell has been an impressive figure on NXT ever since The Way was formed. It looks like Lumis-Hartwell could well have a meteoric rise in the near future.
Indi Hartwell’s Rise
Hartwell began her career by competing in promotions in her hometown of Australia, winning several championships before moving to the United States and eventually signing with WWE and joining the Performance Center.
Hartwell also teamed with LeRae to defeat Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart to win the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles. With her quick rise, a move to the main roster is surely on the cards. She has shown her versatility and skills inside the ring on the black and gold brand.
In this new storyline with Lumis, she is already thriving and is already a main-eventer on a weekly basis. We expect to see her reach the pinnacle of success in WWE, and there is a certainty that it is not a long time away from now.
