Dana Brooke won her first title in her WWE career

Dana Brooke won her first title in her WWE career on Monday’s RAW as she was crowned 24/7 Champion. Cedric Alexander won the WWE 24/7 Championship from Reginald but events that followed afterwards were simply amazing.

A number of WWE stars who were chasing the 24/7 Title made their way to the ring. And out of nowhere Dana Brooke jumped with a neck breaker on Cedric and forced him to a pinfall.

After that number of fellow wrestlers lauded Dana for her sensational and smart win. One of the wrestlers who showered the praise on the champion was Natalya Neidhart. She took to social media platform Twitter and said:

“Every woman in our locker room tonight met @DanaBrookeWWE to celebrate her big win. I’m so happy for you!! #WWERaw #AndNew”

History of WWE 24/7 Championship

The title was first introduced to the WWE by Mick Foley in 2019 on Monday RAW. The title is quite a bit similar to the previous WWE Hardcore Championship, which also had the same rules in comparison to 24/7 title.

The 24/7 championship is also the only title as of now that is not gender-restricted in World Wrestling Entertainment. Before Dana, there have been seven women champions which have held this title.

Kelly Kelly was the first-ever female WWE 24/7 Champion. Candice Michelle then defeated Kelly Kelly to become the champion.
Alundra Blayze then was crowned the champion after winning the title by submission

The most surprising of all was Maria Kanellis. She was pregnant when she was crowned WWE 24/7 Champion. Carmella has history on her side. She is the only wrestler to have been crowned 24/7 Champion twice.

Tamina was at her destroying best when she beat the hell out of Carmella to win the WWE 24/7 Championship.

Alicia Fox was the first-ever female African American WWE 24/7 Champion.
