Mark Henry was speaking on the Busted Open podcast and praise Sami Zayn for his chameleon-like abilities to become Roman Reigns or R-Truth
Ryan McKinnell and Mark Henry were back on the Busted Open podcast for their Saturday special.
The pair looked at all the wrestling shows over the week and had some big topics to cover.
Henry spoke about the Andrade situation where El Idolo, according to reports, wanted a release from WWE. The Hall of Famer didn’t want Andrade to leave and even offered himself to be a mediator between the parties.
They even spoke about AEW, Impact and NXT doing well, in their own respective ways and praised Big E for his incredible promo.
However, the pair also brought up Sami Zayn for what the Canadian has been doing. Zayn has been excellent since he won the Intercontinental Title.
He isn’t the champion now as E is doing a great job but McKinnell lavished praise on Zayn. The host loved the kind of chameleon that Zayn was as the Canadian could do anything in the ring.
Zayn also does a lot of charity work outside of WWE and that was something that McKinnell brought up too.
However, Henry had even more to say about Zayn. The World’s Strongest Man believed Zayn could switch between characters easily and could be a champion again.
Sami Zayn could be Roman Reigns or R-Truth
R-Truth is one of the funniest WWE stars on the current roster, if not the funniest. The multiple-time 24/7 Champion has been comic relief over the years and Henry claimed that Zayn could switch between Truth and Universal Champion Roman Reigns easily.
“His range is ridiculous. I don’t know if there is anybody is existing in the company that has his range.
“He is, like you said, could go from R-Truth to Roman Reigns, like. It is crazy to be able to go from R-Truth to Bobby Lashley.”
Henry also brought up the possibility of making Zayn a champion and claimed that would work too:
“The dude has got it and if you decided, ‘you know what, we are going to run with Sami Zayn.’
“You create a network around him that allows him to use his people to get over, you could make him a champion very easily.
“He has got everything there is and watching him work last night is like watching poetry, listening to jazz music, you don’t know where it is going to go.”
Zayn is one of the most versatile stars in WWE and it is great to see him regularly on TV. Things were a little rough when he was on Raw but ever since he came to SmackDown we are seeing his best work in WWE since his NXT days.
