Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair exchanged some mega blows on Raw leading to discussions of this being a shoot
WWE Female stars Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax appeared to fight each other during a single match on last night’s episode of WWE Raw.
The fight got so intense that at one point, it leads to online speculation that the two were shooting at each other for real, but actually, it was WWE who tried to make it look like a real fight.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Rajah) WWE tried to make this look like a shoot:
“The match was discussed, and it was suggested that the two were trying to make it look like a shoot match, and that’s exactly the way it came across.”

However, another outlet claimed that this wasn’t part of the plan and things got a little awry in the middle of the match before the end.
In the middle of the match when Jax missed the body drop attack allowing The Queen to land a big boot on the face of Jax. This was hit for real as we saw Jax holding his mouth before literally getting an adrenaline dump and then it was an all-out brawl between the two as things got real ugly.
However, later they finished the match with The Irresistible Force Jax getting victory over Flair.
According to pwinsider.com (h/t Rajah):
“The match actually went “awry,” and some of the slaps, punches, and exchanges were “legitimate” after a communication breakdown between Jax and Flair. However, the two were able to get back on the same page as the match progressed and the finish that took place was exactly what was planned. After the match and backstage, there was said to. no issues between the two wrestlers”
It was said that because of some miscommunication between the two, it turned into a real fight.
