WWE superstar Charlotte Flair sorry after liking a tweet from Gal Gadot related to Palestine attacks

Israel’s unlawful military attacks on Palestine have been going on for a while now, but things took an even uglier turn in the past few days.

The attack on the Al Aqsa Mosque by the Israeli forces has caused unprecedented death and destruction, with innocent Palestinians killed senselessly.

In light of these horrible events, celebrities around the world, with the exception of a select few, have taken to social media to stand with Palestinians.

And one of the aforementioned exceptions was Gal Gadot, most famous for her role in DC’s Wonder Woman movie franchise.

But WWE fans were shocked to find out that one of their own liked this tweet by Gadot that was maliciously neutral, trying to showcase that both sides are at ‘war’, when in actuality, the word ‘genocide’ fits the events better.

Charlotte Flair needs to do more than just disregard the whole incident

The screenshot below shows Gadot’s tweet being in Charlotte’s ‘likes’ section on Twitter.

Charlotte Flair then apologized by unliking the tweet and writing, “Holy cr*p it was a pocket like. I’m sorry.”

Was it really a pocket like, Charlotte? We are no one to judge or get the jury out on her for saying that, but fans would have wanted to hear more than just ‘pocket like’.

Being a role model for millions around the world, Charlotte could have shown her support by condemning the one-sided attacks and taking a stand on the matter.

There is no one forcing celebrities to forcefully tweet about, take a stand, or condemn any particular action.

But it still comes as a disappointment to not have one of the most influential female wrestlers in the world stay silent on this matter, especially after her making such a grave slip up.
