Becky Lynch hits back at Charlotte Flair for breastfeeding comments on Raw
Former RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch retaliated to comments from her old rival Charlotte Flair after she mocked her for ‘breastfeeding at home.’
Lynch, who has yet to return to WWE responded to her taunts saying:
“Breastfeeding at home and still the most over woman in the division.”
Flair was hosting her Championship coronation after beating Ripley at Money in the Bank. She became a 12-time World Champion, cementing her name among the greats. During the segment, she took Lynch’s name after fans were chanting her name during the ceremony.
She said: “Becky [Lynch] is home breastfeeding while I’m dominating the entire women’s division.”
The two have created history together participating in the main-event of WrestleMania 35 with Ronda Rousey. The rivalry dates back almost half a decade, as they fought for championships.
Lynch gave birth to her first child Roux, with husband Seth Rollins in December 2020. She looks set to return to WWE this year and could possibly renew her feud with Charlotte Flair.
There was more at Money in the Bank too as the crowd shouted for Lynch to make an appearance during Charlotte’s clash with Ripley, which the Queen won and then flipped the crowd too.
Flair, will now move to another storyline after months of battling Ripley for the title on the red brand.
How did Monday Night Raw close out?
Charlotte Flair faced Rhea Ripley after The Nightmare triggered her rematch clause. The match ended with Flair retaining via disqualification. The intensity of the rivalry continued as Ripley attacked Flair, outside the ring delivering a Riptide on the bare floor.
Nikki A.S.H, who won the Money in the Bank match on Sunday sprinted to the ring to take advantage of the opportunity. She cashed in within 24 hours and delivered a thunderous crossbody to become the new WWE RAW Women’s Champion.
Now, the title picture could feature Flair and Ripley both alongside Nikki, which could make for one hell of a match at SummerSlam for the title.
