Reginald has teamed up with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler on WWE
It seems that Reginald Thomas is finally getting a push that he has deserved for so long. He was introduced to the WWE Universe as Carmella’s sommelier.
During that stint, he was a nuisance at ringside, most notably against Sasha Banks. He even fought ‘The Boss’ in an inter-gender match.
But he has now separated from Carmella. And instead, the former Cirque de Soleil member has seemingly sided with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.
After all, he was ringside in the duo’s women’s tag team title match against Lana and Naomi. It seemed as if this would be Lana’s chance to get a belt especially after what WWE did to her before TLC 2020.
But it was not to be, and Reginald had a little role to play in the outcome as well.
Carmella has a positive reaction for Reginald as he sides with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler
Carmella, of course, fired Reginald a few days prior to this week’s Monday Night RAW. And after Reginald’s decisive appearance in the title match, WWE posted a photo of him.
It was captioned “[Music emoji] 𝑫𝒐𝒏’𝒕 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒈𝒐𝒕 𝑻𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒆 [Music emoji] cc: @CarmellaWWE#WWERaw“.
Carmella replied to it saying that she doesn’t really care as she still has a glass of wine on one hand and has one less paycheque to hand out.
Reginald does deserve to have more limelight and it seems that this move is the next towards him ultimately having a solo run.
But to many, it seemed obnoxious as Jax and Baszler were already dominant and would not need Reginald to win otherwise, especially against Lana and Naomi.
