Carmella posted a no makeup selfie on Instagram blasting the fans
WWE star Carmella recently posted a selfie on her Instagram. The post was not done with just a picture. Carmella decided to speak out on the hate messages and threats people receive on social media. She talked about how the fans can be so cruel sometimes with the constant hate.
Carmella said:
“It’s been a while since I’ve posted a no makeup, non-filtered selfie. Do I love getting dressed up and having my hair and makeup done? Yes! But a majority of my time is spent in sweats with no makeup on my face and my hair in a bun..that’s MY reality most of the time. So I need to do better with being real with you all on here. To be completely honest, being on Instagram and Twitter recently has been hard. The hate and the threats are at an all time high, it’s quite disturbing actually. I usually just try to post and leave it alone, but it’s hard to NOT read the negativity sometimes. Y’all can be so cruel. Luckily, I know who I am. I’m not going to let you get to me. I just wanted to post this as a friendly reminder not to believe everything you read and see on the internet. Do you, for you.”
Carmella has certainly made her feelings heard on the hate received by the wrestlers. She has made it clear that she will continue to be true to herself and also not hide behind the glitz and glamour of the internet.
Has Carmella advanced in the Queen’s Crown?
Carmella took on Liv Morgan in last week’s Friday night SmackDown in the first round of the Queen’s Crown tournament. Carmella managed to get the better of Morgan and defeated her to reach the semi-finals scheduled for the upcoming Friday night SmackDown.
However, the original plans were to make Morgan advance to the semi-finals but this plan was later nixed. Carmella is now set to face Zelina Vega in the semi-finals and will look to secure her place in the final at the Crown Jewel PPV.
