Lacey Evans and Cardi B square off in a heated Twitter arguement

WWE superstar Lacey Evans jumped onto Cardi B on Twitter yesterday after the latter was making a streak of tweets aimed at the promotion.

Evans picked up a tag team win on this week’s Monday Night RAW after spending a majority of the match flirting with the Nature Boy Ric Flair. Things took an interesting turn after Cardi B was name-dropped on the show.

In a backstage segment with Nikki Cross and Angel Garza, Torrie Wilson mentioned that Cardi B was in another room in order to fool Garza. Replying to a video of this, the rapper said on Twitter that this was not how she planned her WWE debut to be.

Lacey Evans then jumped to the tweet and responded in hostile manner. She even referenced Nicki Minaj in her tweet, who is one of Cardi B’s rivals.

The tweet called out Cardi B and asked her to be careful about her wishes. The heated exchange resulted in a back-and-forth until Cardi B deleted her reply to Evans.

A potential match on the cards between Lacey Evans and Cardi B?

No one is a stranger to WWE’s love for having world-renowned superstars inside the ring. From Floy Mayweather Jr. to Ronda Rousey, the promotion has never passed up on an opportunity to have the biggest non-wrestling names on their show.

The profanity in the tweets between Evans and Cardi B suggest that this might be real after all. WWE also loves to make it difficult for the fans to differentiate between what is real and what is not.

Either way, this could be a set up to have the Grammy-winning musician on WWE. Cardi B herself made her love for wrestling known yesterday on Twitter.

Cardi even posted how much she liked Sasha Banks, and even took a bit of a shot at Vince McMahon. There could be a WWE move coming in the future, but it is unlikely it will take place soon.
