Bully Ray takes jab at WWE RAW lumberjacks after this week’s match

WWE has gone lumberjack-crazy in the past two days. First, they had one with Damian Priest and The Miz at WrestleMania Backlash.

That match had zombies as lumberjacks as a part of a promotion for Batista’s upcoming movie. It was always going to have mixed reactions from fans and critics alike.

The match saw John Morrison and The Miz overrun by zombies at the end after Priest won. In a repeat of that, Priest was involved in another match this Monday.

The 17th May 2021 episode of RAW saw Priest take on Morrison, who wanted to take revenge for what happened to The Miz.

But this time around, the lumberjacks were pro wrestlers- including T-BAR, Cedric Alexander, Akira Tozawa, MACE, and even Niki Cross!

Were these lumberjack matches fair for Damian Priest?

Bully Ray tweeted that the lumberjacks this time around were looking better than the ones on Sunday. The laughing emojis at the end all but confirmed that he was taking a jab at WWE for a match that was laughed at by many.

In the midst of all this was Priest. The former NXT star recently joined the WWE main roster and got his time out in the sun at WrestleMania 37 alongside Bad Bunny.

While the Latin musician carried his own pretty well, Priest did all of the work in that team from the moment their rivalry with The Miz and John Morrison started. But for all that, he got next to no credit.

And when fans wanted to see Priest get a serious push to the top, they were forced to see him fending off zombies for a movie promotion.

He deserves better than this. Priest won on RAW this week and stated that the win meant his rivalry with the duo was over- which we really hope is the case.
