Bully Ray highlights how important Alexa Bliss is for The Fiend’s character

Bully Ray says Alexa Bliss is a revelation for the character of the Fiend on WWE

Things have been different for Alexa Bliss ever since she came in contact with The Fiend. It all changed a few months back when she failed to defend the Women’s tag team title with Nikki Cross.

Cross then squandered a shot at the Women’s championship and blamed Bliss for not helping her out. This resulted in Cross shoving Bliss to the ground on the July 31st episode of WWE SmackDown.

Just seconds later, Bray Wyatt’s alter ego, The Fiend, came in contact with Little Miss Bliss for the first time. Ever since then, she has changed completely under the hold of Wyatt’s alternate persona.

This has resulted in Bliss taking a Harley Quinn-esque role as The Fiend’s ally. That move has certainly contributed a lot in making the show interesting in the past few weeks, including a hair-raising confrontation with Randy Orton.

And now, Bully Ray has joined the bandwagon of praising the role of the three-time WWE RAW Women’s Champion as the Fiend’s side character.

Speaking on the Busted Open podcast on the 20th December, the former WWE wrestler mentioned how he is hooked on to Alexa Bliss, not for her wrestling, but for her acting and ‘re-acting’.

“I find myself very intrigued by everything she does and says. I’ve always been a fan of her work. I enjoy her stuff. She has the majority of my emotional investment.

Ray added that she adds an element of emotion to the character of the thing. He compares the character of The Fiend to that of a monster before the introduction, but points out how Bliss has brought depth to his character with her role.

“She adds to the Fiend’s character, it gives him depth; it gives him more emotion. He cares about her. [Earlier] He was like a monster… a swamp thing”

The Fiend was also burned alive by Orton at TLC 2020 and WWE left it’s fans on tenterhooks as The Viper seemed set to do the same to Bliss on this week’s Raw.
