Braun Strowman shows battle scars and confirms Shane McMahon gave him a black eye at WrestleMania 37
‘The Monster Among Men’, Braun Strowman, was at his best at WrestleMania 37 when he took on Shane McMahon in a steel cage match.
The personal rivalry culminated a few weeks back and despite many people doubting the purpose of it, went on to give us a memorable ‘Mania match.
This was only the 2nd steel cage match in WrestleMania history and the first in 35 years. And Strowman reminded everyone why he is such a force to reckon with on WWE.
Shane-O-Mac tried every trick in the book to down Strowman, including taking help from Jaxson Ryker and Elias; but nothing worked.
‘The Mountain of a Man’ injured his legs due to the beating dished out to him earlier, but had enough strength left in him to rip up the steel mesh and even drop McMahon off the top of the cage on to the mat.

He went on to comfortably win the fight in what was a highly satisfying victory for him. But such a physical encounter is sure to leave some battle scars.
And Strowman showed one of those on his Instagram stories earlier this week as he uploaded a phot of his black eye.
The fight itself was pretty epic. There were talks of high-flying stunts and a brutal physical battle being played out.
That is exactly what the fans got. Booker T also proved to be spot on when he said that this fight was going to be beneficial for Strowman because McMahon would bring out something in him that no one has managed to before.
As for their rivalry, it remains to be seen if it still goes on or Strowman gets a title push somewhere.
