WWE Hall of Famer shares his opinion on whether WWE will buy AEW

All Elite Wrestling is the new Talk of the town for all the wrestling fans out there. This wrestling circuit is giving WWE a tough fight as many popular names have already chosen AEW over WWE.

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T also shared his thoughts on whether WWE will buy AEW like WCW.

Booker T bio
Booker T is a Hall of Famer

According to the latest episode of The Hall of Fame Podcast (h/t Wrestling Inc.) a fan asked Booker T whether WWE will end up buying AEW as it did with WCW in 2001.

The Two-time Hall of Famer mentioned that he doesn’t want companies to fall and only one company to stay, generating more jobs for the wrestling talent.

Booker T mentioned that TNA started well with all the Hogan’s and Flairs moving to TNA, but eventually, they lost focus, and WWE blew them out of the race. He mentioned AEW being a tough competition than TNA, and this could be an even bigger battle. But, we have to hang on, T said in the last.

“Me personally, I’m not one of these guys that’s going to be talking about, ‘Man, I wish these guys would go out of business or anything like that,’ because every guy that has a job in this business is a good thing. One thing about WWE, they cannot supply every wrestler out there that wants to do this. For me, it’s all about guys being able to live out that dream, doing one percent at the highest level and being able to look back on their legacy.

“The six-sided ring, for me, I wish I had thought of it. Especially for this young group of guys that want to do all this high-flying. I’m seeing the way the world of wrestling is gravitating towards that. I wish I would’ve thought of that, but unfortunately, [TNA] lost focus. And we saw WWE pretty much blow them out of the water, and then AEW came along. I never thought we’d see another battle like we’re seeing right now, not in my lifetime anyway. But it just goes to show you anything is possible. Right now, all we’ve got to do is just hang on.”

This is now an actual war between WWE and AEW but only time will tell that who will pounce upon the other or it will go on as competitors, but The owner of AEW is quite big they are the owners of NFL Jacksonville jaguars and the net worth of AEW is a massive $8 billion.

AEW will now air a third hour of wrestling on Friday- AEW Rampage.

WWE bought WCW after a long run battle

It is almost after 20 years that we see a battle between two wrestling companies. The last time something like this happened, WWE was the winner in the end.

Exactly 20 years back, WCW was there with all the great wrestlers and giving tough competition, it was a long battle.

But in the end, Vince McMahon bought WCW. It was a long battle as it resulted in many bodies and casualties as the wrestlers never wrestled again from a big-time perspective after the WCW was shut off.
