Bobby Lashley’s WrestleMania plans to be revealed this week on Raw?

The All Mighty couldn’t defend his title at the Elimination Chamber as he was taken out of the structure by medical personnel owing to a kayfabe “concussion” caused when Rollins powerbombed Austin Theory through his chamber pod.

The initial impression was that it had been done to avoid giving Lashley a loss to Brock and not make him look weaker but the actual story behind Lashley not competing inside the Chamber is different.

As per an update from former WWE writer Kazeem Famuyide given on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Lashley is dealing with a genuine shoulder issue which would require him to get under the knife.

I have it under good authority that Bobby Lashley is shoot hurt and has been hurt since the Rumble match. If you noticed, he hasn’t worked any Raws. He hasn’t really defended his title. He was shoot hurt at the Lesnar (match) at the Rumble.”

Famuyide further stated: “From what I’m told, it’s for at least four months. Shoulder surgery. I’m hearing that he might not even make it to ‘Mania.”

Now if Lashley, does go for the surgery, it will be impossible for him to compete at WrestleMania which is just over a month away. The earliest he could return would be at SummerSlam at Nashville scheduled on 30th July.

Goldberg is a free agent. WWE might book him for a match at WrestleMania

With Bobby Lashley all but out of the WrestleMania picture, WWE can look to fill the void by bringing the legend back for a match at the showpiece event.

Bill Goldberg streak

Goldberg’s contract with the WWE ended with his brawl against Roman Reigns at the Elimination Chamber but there is a strong chance that he might be called upon for one more match at WrestleMania. Bill Goldberg is box-office even though he might not be at his physical best.
