‘The EST’ Bianca Belair recently became the WWE SmackDown women’s champion
Bianca Belair continues to have a great year at WWE as she won her first singles title on the main roster at WrestleMania 37.
It came after her 2021 women’s Royal Rumble win. And she picked Banks for a title fight at the grandest stage of them all.
She went on to win against ‘The Boss’ in a marathon title fight and the historic moment was so significant that even the losing champion could not mask her happiness at ringside.
Now begins Belair’s reign on the Blue brand and that means going up against a challenger to defend her title belt.
And The EST says she already has a name in mind as she spoke to ESPN in an interview after her massive title win on night one of WrestleMania 37.

Belair says that she now wants a rematch against Sasha Banks just to prove that her WM 37 win wasn’t a fluke and that she really deserves the belt.
“And my next step, for me, is I want Sasha Banks to get a rematch right away. I want to prove that this was not a fluke, this wasn’t luck, that I am the best. I want to solidify it and prove that I am the best… I feel like I am at the forefront of a new generation of women wrestlers…”
That’s big talk for a first-time champion but it seems that WWE is giving her a mighty push that is not going to stop anytime soon.
A rematch between Banks and Belair would also be a good sell. The two seem to have good chemistry inside and outside the ring and fans dig that about them.
When that match comes is still a mystery but it can be as soon as the next episode of SmackDown.
