Bianca Belair and Bayley could end up meeting in a hair vs hair match
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live (h/t Wrestling Edge), Bryan Alvarez has claimed that WWE could end up booking a hair vs hair match between Bianca Belair and Bayley.
Belair became the WWE SmackDown Women at WrestleMania 37 last month after defeating Sasha Banks in the main event on Night one of the Show of Shows.
Following her huge success at the Grandest Stages of them all, The EST of WWE found herself facing up against Bayley as her first challenger for the title.
The build to the feud has been nothing to write home about at all. But the two wrestlers put on a solid match at WrestleMania Backlash this past Sunday, with Belair retaining.
Bianca and Belair to face off in Hair vs Hair match?
The finish for the match saw Belair use her braid to take advantage and pin Bayley for the win, following which ‘The Role Model’ was left complaining, even though she had tried to use the braid to her own advantage at various points during the bout.
Nevertheless, the finish left the door open for a rematch in the future. And Alvarez has now speculated that WWE could end up booking a Hair vs Hair match between Bayley and Belair.
“Bianca beat her using the hair. The finish was botched, but you got the idea. I don’t know if this is going to lead to a hair vs hair match, but I have a feeling that Bayley is going to put her hair on the line against the ponytail and probably get shaved bald. That would be my guess.”
One wouldn’t put it past WWE to make such a booking either. After all, we did ‘zombie lumberjacks’ at the WrestleMania Backlash PPV. It remains to be seen if the creative do end up going down the Hair vs Hair route.
