Becky Lynch teases Liv Morgan after getting punched
The No.1 contender for the RAW Women’s Championship, Liv Morgan attacked the current Women’s Champion Becky Lynch during the interview on Monday night RAW’s edition.
Reacting to that, The Man quoted the WWE video from her Twitter handle and teased Morgan in her new post. The Women’s Champion said: “About time you showed a little fire, Livy.”
After surviving a Fatal 5-Way Match against some of the top Superstars on the red brand, Morgan earned herself a future Raw Women’s Championship Match against The Man. So definitely in coming weeks – this rivalry is going to become more intense and interesting.
Becky has a new contender to her Raw Women’s Championship: Liv Morgan
Morgan defeated the likes of Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Queen Zelina, and Carmella — who she pinned for the victory — in order to book her spot in the title match. Since then the duo have been taking digs at each other on social media platforms.
Since then it was confirmed that Morgan will be the No.1 contender of Becky’s title – Lynch posted a photo of her holding the Raw title with the caption “Come get it”, to which Morgan responded: “On the way.”
Morgan is quite popular among fans – who wanted WWE to give her more time in the middle and give her a chance to compete for the title. Morgan has still not won any title and she could be seeing this as the best chance for her to snatch the title from Becky.
In an interview with Complex, Liv Morgan earlier last week said that she is all set for the title match and is desperate to get her hands on the belt.
“I mean, regardless whether it was Becky or someone else, I’ve always had my sight set on the Raw Women’s Championship. It just so happened that our champion is Becky. I kind of had this almost full-circle moment, to fulfill this moment we had before she left on her pregnancy leave, where she told me that when she came back, I’d be champion and I wasn’t.
“Now she’s back and she’s a champion and I’m the No. 1 contender.”
